Our policy proposal would help another 2,500,000 people to start saving for their future

How our policy proposals can help

The 'under-pensioned' report

Our latest report with the Pensions Policy Institute identifies the most ‘under-pensioned’ groups in the UK. These groups are reaching retirement age with a pension wealth approximately 15% of the UK average.

Our policy proposals would help get a further 2.5 million involved with pension saving, generating an additional £1.2 billion in annual pension contributions.

NOW: Pensions research, December 2020

*This is £0 because the majority of people in these groups do not contribute to any pension saving, so when
we divide the total pension wealth for this group with the number of individuals it averages out at £0.
